My book on Kea and PowerDNS is now available in English and can be ordered on Amazon.

This book is not a traditional guide that describes one or more services. Instead, it’s a hands-on workshop that sets up a complete environment. Nor does the book aim to describe all the features of each individual service,
but rather to create a functional environment that can then be customized to suit your specific needs.
This book explains the process in easy-to-follow steps. The book is based on a Vagrant environment in which all servers are preconfigured. This allows the entire environment to be set up step by step. The following services are described and set up in the
workshop:
– The Vagrant environment with all required servers
– MariaDB as a Galera cluster for all data
– Use of HAProxy to ensure service reliability
– Setup of PowerDNS as a DNS server
– Use of PowerDNS-Admin to manage DNS zones
– Setup of the Kea DHCP server, including DDNS
– Adminer as a web-based platform for managing Kea databases

The entire Vagrant environment, including all configuration files, can be downloaded using “git clone https://codeberg.org/stka/kea-powerdns.git.” The repository contains a pre-configured “Vagrantfile” and all configuration files sorted by server.
This makes it easy to follow all the steps directly.

The book was not published by any traditional publisher; instead, I self-published it through Amazon’s KDP program, so it is available exclusively through Amazon.
